Sebastián Varel is a Dominican-American author who writes contemporary fiction rooted in faith, family, cultural identity, and the quiet conflicts of the heart. Born in the Dominican Republic and shaped by the mountains of the Cibao and the shores of the north coast, he draws on the island's landscapes, traditions, and resilient spirit to craft stories with emotional depth and cultural authenticity.
With a background in engineering and a lifelong passion for storytelling, he explores love, grief, ambition, spiritual conviction, family duty, and the courage to choose a life that may be hard to explain. His stories reach beyond genre, touching themes of resilience, redemption, identity, and second chances.
